1. Connect a DVI cable between the monitor and DISH Network satellite receiver DishDVI connectors.
   Why?
   
   NOTE: The DISH DVI connector on the monitor MUST be connected to an activated DISH Network receiver to view programming in High Definition.
   
   

   If an authorized DISH Network receiver is NOT connected to the DISH DVI input AND
   HD video is present on the DVI input (DISH DVI)	AND	DISH DVI input source selected (DISH DVI)	Video is blocked and the monitor displays: "HD programming cannot be viewed on this input until an authorized DISH Network receiver is connected to the DISH DVI input (HD01)".
   HD video is present on the Component video input (Y/Pr/Pb)	AND	Component video input source is selected (CMP1, CMP2)	Video is blocked and the monitor displays: "HD programming cannot be viewed on this input until an authorized DISH Network receiver is connected to the DISH DVI input (HD01)".
   Non-HD (Standard or Enhanced Definition) is present on the DVI input (DISH DVI)	AND	DISH DVI input source selected (DISH DVI)	Video will display at 480p (ED) without a message
   Non-HD (Standard or Enhanced Definition) is present on the Component video input (Y/Pr/Pb)	AND	Component video input source is selected (CMP1, CMP2)	Video will display at 480i (SD) or 480p (ED), depending upon content, without a message
   No video is present on the DVI input (DISH DVI)	AND	DISH DVI input source selected (DISH DVI)	The following message will be displayed: "Please connect a DISH Network Satellite Receiver to the DISH DVI input (HD02)".
   No video is present on the Component video input (Y/Pr/Pb)	AND	Component video input source is selected (CMP1, CMP2)	A blank screen will display without a message

   
   
2. Connect red and white RCA-type cables between the matching color RCA-type plugs on the monitor audio inputs and DISH Network satellite receiver audio outputs.
   
   
3. Plug in the monitor to a power outlet.
   
   
4. Power on the monitor and satellite receiver using the SAT button on the remote control.
   
   
5. Leave the monitor on for about one hour and then complete the auto convergence steps.
   
   
6. Press SAT to switch the monitor display to the DISHDVI input.
   
   
7. Press MENU and select Convergence.
   
   
8. Select Auto Convergence.
   
   
9. When the auto convergence is complete, the Red center convergence menu appears. The cross in the middle of the screen should be completely yellow. If it is not, use the ARROW buttons to move the red cross to overlap the green cross. Press SELECT/OK when the cross is completely yellow.
   
   
10. The Blue center convergence menu appears with a completely cyan (blue-green) cross in the middle of the screen. If it is not, use the ARROW buttons to move the blue cross to overlap the green cross. Press SELECT/OK when the cross is completely cyan (the monitor tunes to the last available channel in the channel list).
