Local Link Feature
Explain
The Local Link feature enables the local off-air broadcast or cable channels to be viewed via the satellite receiver. Once the channels are set up, those channels can be viewed through the EPG or the Browse Banner the same way as any of the satellite channels. Digital Off-Air channels are shown in Yellow in the EPG.
These channels are only inserted into the EPG and are not being received by the satellite dish. For this reason, DISH Network has no control over the picture and audio quality. A better quality and better aimed off-air antenna may improve this quality.
