Setting Caller ID (May not be available on all receivers.)
All systems with Caller ID must be properly grounded. The grounding can be at a grounding block. In addition to grounding, Caller ID requires a phone line connected to the receiver, a subscription to Caller ID service through your local phone company and Caller ID enabled in the receiver.
Setting up your Caller ID:
- Press the Menu button on the remote.
- Select System Setup from the Main Menu.
Note: For DISH 721 and DISH PLAYER-DVR 921
- Select Preferences
- Select View Preferences
- Check Enable under Caller ID Popup
- Select Done
- Select Installation from the System Setup menu.
- Select Caller ID
Note: For Model 6000
- Telephone System
- Check Caller ID On
- Save
- Check Caller ID On.
- Select
- Save For Models: 111, 301, 311, 351, 501, 508, 510, 811
- Done For Models: 211/411, 222, 322, 522, 622, 625, 722, 942
**NOTE: Models 1000, 2000, 2800, 3000, 3750, 3900, 4000, 4900, 5000, and DISHPLAYER 7100/7200
DO NOT have
Caller ID.
