The Quad LNBF combines four single-output LNBF's with an internal switch. The Quad allows for reception of signals from 110 West and 119 West satellites and routes these signals to as many as 4 receiver with no need for splitters or multi-dish switches. It can be configured to receive programming from all 3 satellite locations. A professional installation is not necessary when connecting the Quad LNBF to up to 4 receivers. Because of its internal switch, installation is simplified greatly. If installing more than 4 receivers and/or 3 satellite locations, a professional installation is recommended.
Here is an easy tip in determining if one have a Quad LNBF, without removing the LNBF from the dish. The Quad has a silver Dish logo sticker on the back. The Twin has an embossed Dish logo on the back.
