Plumb Mast

The diameter of the mounting mast is 1 5/8" for a DISH 300, DISH 500 or DISH 1000 and 2 3/8" for a SuperDISH.
The mounting mast must be plumb (straight up and down) for the mounting angles to be correct.
If installing a pole mount, this pole must also be 1 5/8" for a DISH 300, DISH 500 or DISH 1000 and 2" for Type I, 2 3/8" for Type II SuperDISH, and plumb.
The depth that the pole must be installed in the ground varies by location.
If you are installing a pole mount, you should check with the local utilities before digging.
