Addressing to DTVPal
To program the DISH Network remote to the receiver, follow these steps.

If you start this procedure and at any time do not press a button within 20 seconds, the remote will end the procedure automatically. Simply start over again.
  1. Press and hold the SAT button at the top of the remote until all mode button backlights illuminate (about 3 seconds), then release.
  2. While the SAT mode light blinks, press and release the number 1 on the remote keypad. Note: you must use the number 1. (you have to use 1)
  3. Press # (pound) on the remote control.
  4. The SAT mode button will blink three times
  5. Test to see if the remote works with the receiver. Note: There is no need to press record.
