After approximately four hours of no activity, i.e. no remote/front panel commands etc, the receiver will prompt to go into a standby mode with a screen saver or to continue watching the program. This will let the EPG information refresh and is a good maintenance tool for those who do not turn off their receiver on a nightly basis.
How To
301, 311, 351, 381, 501, 508, 510, 811 receivers
- Press Menu on the remote.
- Go to System Setup, Installation, Inactivity Power Off.
- Select Enable to turn Inactivity Standby on.
Select Disable to turn Inactivity Standby off.
211, 211k, 222, 411, 522, 622, 625, 722, 942 receivers
- Press Menu on the remote.
- Go to Preferences, Inactivity Standby.
- Select Enable to turn Inactivity Standby on.
Select Disable to turn Inactivity Standby off.
- Choose how many hours the receiver needs to be inactive before it goes into standby.
721, 921 receivers
- Press Menu on the remote.
- Go to Preferences, Inactivity Mode.
- Select Enable to turn Inactivity Standby on.
Select Disable to turn Inactivity Standby off.
1022 HZ receivers
- There is no setting for the 1022 HZ receiver.
