Setting Internal Volume Control

Setting Internal Volume Control (1000, 2800, 3900, 111)

Setting the receivers internal volume control will allow you to adjust the volume through the receiver. The TV's volume control should be turned up for optimal performance. The receiver's volume tops out at 22. This is a good tool to use to determine if the TV's volume needs to be adjusted.

Setting up the Internal Volume Control:

  1. Press the Menu button on the remote.
  2. Highlight and select Audio Options or System Setup from the Main Menu.
  3. Highlight and select Volume Control from the Audio Options menu or Volume Control from the System Setup menu.
  4. Highlight and select DISH Receiver Remote Volume Control or TV Remote Volume Control.
  5. Highlight and select Save.
  6. Press View on the remote to quickly exit the receiver menus.
To use a universal remote with the receiver's internal volume control, address the TV mode to 222 and address the AUX mode to the TV.
