To Set the Maximum Number of Events
This option is used when setting a DVR timer (with the exception of the "Once" timer) to avoid filling up the hard drive. This feature can also be used to have the receiver automatically record newer events over old events for the same timer, so old events do not have to be manually deleted.
  1. When setting up a timer, select the type of timer that is desired (with the exception of the "Once" timer).
  2. Go to Options.
  3. Change the Maximum Recorded Events from # (pound) to the desired number of events.
  4. Select Done.
Recording on TV2

Dual-tuner receivers do not have a TV2 VCR timer option. The IR Blaster is built into the front panel of the receiver and will not reach the TV2 location. In order to record from TV2 to a VCR, set an Auto Tune timer on TV2 and set up the VCR’s manual timer to record the event.

Dual-tuner DVR's (522, 622, 625, 942) have the Record Plus feature. When a DVR timer is set on the receiver, it automatically records to the TV2 location (default).

To change: Note: If the receiver is in Shared Mode, the timer will interrupt the TV that it is set to record to.
