Descriptive Video

What is Descriptive Video?
Descriptive Video is an audio narration, which provides the listening audience with descriptions of scenes, settings, costumes and body language in the natural pauses of dialogue or songs. It is being offered as a service for the visually impaired.

What networks on DISH Network may have Descriptive Video available?

In addition, to the extent our technology allows, DISH Network will pass through Descriptive Video for any cable or broadcast network that provides the service. DISH Network is currently not being provided with Descriptive Video services.

How will I be able to utilize this feature?
Descriptive video is available on the SAP channel. You will need to choose the secondary audio option on your receiver's menu. Two options are available for Descriptive Video, either Spanish or Alternate. You should try both options to determine which works for each individual channel. DISH Network is currently not being provided with Descriptive Video services.
