- DishONLINE movie downloads Explain
DishONLINE allows you to use your receiver’s Ethernet connection to download programs. These programs can be saved to your receiver’s hard drive for future viewing.
You can use DishONLINE in three ways:
- Rent: Keep a program for a limited time before the system erases it.
- Purchase: Keep a downloaded program indefinitely.
- Free: A program is free to download and keep indefinitely.
- Free for a Limited Time: Keep a free program for a limited time before the system erases it.
- DishCOMM Explain
DishCOMM technology allows compatible DISH Network receivers to send and receive information via your home power circuits. In a multiple DishCOMM-enabled system, if one receiver connects to a phone line, all receivers can access features such as Pay-Per-View and DishHOME Interactive TV, etc.

Equipment Requirements:
- Supported DISH Network receiver
- Broadband Internet subscription
- Router or gateway with an open Ethernet port
Installation:
- How To?
- Verify current subscription to a broadband Internet service. No dial-up service.
- Verify a correct home network is set up by accessing the Internet using the existing home computer.
- Connect the receiver to the home network using the appropriate existing home network equipment.
- In the receiver's Installation menu, select Broadband Setup and then Network Setup.
- If the IP Address lists all 0's, select Reset Connection. If the IP Address is listed, continue.
- If the Connection Status is 'Not Connected', troubleshoot the home network. If the Connection Status is 'Connected Online', continue.
- In the receiver's Setup menu, select Diagnostics and then Connection.
- Installation is complete. Exit menus.
